How it all started...

AvoChavez was born out of a deep conviction: the true value of avocados comes from the land and the people who work it.

For decades, our family has lived off the land. We are descendants of farmers and ranchers who planted corn, lemons, and mangoes; who raised cattle, milked cows, and made cheese and cream to support their communities.

This knowledge was not learned from books, but through daily practice, passed down from generation to generation, with respect for nature and an intuitive understanding of the balance between soil, water, animals, and humans.

In 1993, we started our first avocado plantations. Over time, avocados became the centerpiece of our family business and the foundation of a long-term agricultural project. However, as the industry grew, so did the chains of intermediaries, diluting the product's identity and disconnecting producers from end consumers.

Faced with this reality, AvoChavez was founded in 2017 as a marketing company with a clear objective: to regain control of the process, protect the value of the producer's work, and bring avocados with identity, origin, and purpose directly to the market. AvoChavez was created to shorten the chain, eliminate unnecessary intermediaries, and build relationships based on transparency, quality, and trust.

We are a family business representing five generations of farmers and ranchers in Michoacán and Jalisco, regions where our family has worked the land for over a century.

For us, regenerative agriculture is not a fad; it is an ancestral legacy. Our ancestors looked to the sky before looking at the ground. It was a way of asking permission, giving thanks, and recognizing that there is a higher order that sustains life. Today, that vision translates into agricultural practices that regenerate the soil, strengthen ecosystems, and ensure a viable future for the next generations.

For more than 20 years, we have been certified as organic producers, consolidating a real and sustained commitment to soil health, biodiversity, and people. We currently integrate that ancestral knowledge with innovation, traceability, safety, and international standards, offering organic, regenerative, and premium products, including our avocados, grown with responsibility, honesty, and absolute respect for nature.

Our philosophy is clear: to produce food that nourishes the body, but also the conscience. We control the process from the farm to the end customer, guaranteeing quality, sustainability, and fairness for both the producer and our entire workforce. At AvoChavez, human resources are as valuable as the land itself.

Long before concepts such as organic, regenerative, or biodynamic existed, we were already practicing what our ancestors taught us: caring for the soil, respecting natural cycles, and understanding that the earth is not to be exploited, but honored.

We believe in holistic management where nothing is separate, where every element—animal, plant, mineral, and human—is part of an interconnected whole. We are the result of generations who have believed that the best way to honor the land is to care for it, respect it, and share its fruits with the world.
